XMCOSY+ Vintage Smart RGBW Outdoor Wall Lights

This light fixture is decent, though not exactly what we expected. When looking at the pictures in the description, I had assumed that they showed a wet outdoor light with rain drops on the surface of the glass. This is NOT the case though, there are actually small bubbles IN the transparent acrylic (not glass) surface. This is not a big deal to us, but we were slightly surprised by this design.

The other issue was that the setup/connection took longer than expected. Others have already mentioned this, but make sure you have a 2.4GHz router.

Overall, this is a pretty decent outside light, though I have a few concerns about the longevity of the construction materials of plastic and acrylic. For now, we'll give it a 4/5, but I'll update this review if there are any issues over time.

This is incredible!!! I love the features it comes with how you can control with voice or controller the amazing colors it changes it's ultra bright super high quality and definitely worth the buy!!

I couldn’t be much giddier about this light! Besides the fact I’m going to have a blast with all the colors, it’s incredibly well built, larger and more lovely than I expected from the photos, and as easy to install as any hardwired light. It is extremely bright and the colors and color combos are seemingly endless! If you like to decorate for seasons and holidays like I do, you’ll love this light because you can easily change the color with the phone app. The app was super simple to install and set up. Once done, taps on the phone app can immediately turn the light a multitude of colors, as well as functioning to turn it on and off. I have not yet gotten to explore all of the features on the app, but I am already so very happy with this light!

Installation was relatively simply, once I got passed some old home issues - like having to mount the light upside down because the junction box was higher than normal and the light hit the overhang of my house. Overall, the light is nice, bright and a good size for front or back. I already have a couple of XMCOSY+ smart products, so adding the light and linking it to my Alexa device was quick and easy - it connected almost immediately.

I am a big fan of these XMCOSY+ outdoor smart lights. I love that not only can I turn the lights on before I get home without leaving them on all day, but that I can dial in the color and intensity to how I want it. When warmer weather comes back and there's more hanging out outdoors, I'll be really exploring all the capabilities. For now, it's just being able to control the lights from afar. Or putting them on from my phone without getting up if someone is coming over. Life in the space age!
