XMCOSY+ Smart Solar Motion Sensor Light - 6 pack (Included Smart Bridge)

Pros: vibrant lighting, easy to install Cons: the app is difficult to navigate I purchased the 6 pack to place on my patio. They were easy to install and look high quality. They were set up within 10 minutes. They also came with the smart bridge. Navigating the app has been a bit difficult. First it took about 2 days for the batteries to charge so I could play with the options. It seems that my settings didn’t take effect right away. for example, the app gives you the option to manually turn on, use sensors, or a timer. I set up the timer function and it didn’t work until the next day. Also with 6 lights I wanted to adjust them all at the same time and apply settings to all 6 but I have had to individually adjust each which is very tedious. These are on the expensive side so I’m hoping they last longer than the ones that are smaller and significantly cheaper. My kids like that can change the colors so this should be fun and add some flair to the decor.

These are high-quality, multi-functional, solar-powered (rechargeable batteries included). XMCosy app controls the lights individually or as a group via the XMCosy Smart Bridge (included with 6-light package) and my home WIFI (2.5 GHz) router. It is easy to install and set up. I can either set specific days/times to turn lights on/off or use the built-in motion sensors (sensitivity adjustable) to turn them on/off (duration times adjustable), change the light colors/intensities and more. They include the hardware to either install them in a lawn or screw them into a wooden deck. I have them in my lawn around the perimeter of my patio and look great (see photos). XMCosy+ customer service is very responsive and stands behind their products.

The lights are easy to assemble, install, and pair with the XMcosy app. My favorite feature is the motion sensor for each light as they are customizable for sensitivity. There is also a way to group all of the lights to function as one when setting their schedules and colors. I found that even in shady conditions, the solar cells charge up well to last through the evening hours. I used them in my planter to give a gentle wash of illumination through the night.

This is my second purchase from the company. I had such a positive experience the first time (low voltage landscape lights), that I didn’t have any hesitation when I was looking for solar lights. I already had the app installed and so it was easy getting them set up with Bluetooth. The only hiccup I experienced was initially, two of the lights had low battery charges and so my phone could not connect to them. You should make sure that you fully charge each light before setting them up. Each light has a USB-C port, and a light goes from red to green when the user replaceable battery is fully charged. What I like most is that you can run each light independently or create a group and control them together. The app allows you to regulate things like brightness, duration, and sensitivity to movement. You can permanently secure the lights using supplied screws or use the included stakes. Using the stakes enables you to move them and thus I can light up the driveway in the winter and the path to the river on the other side of my house in the summer. All and all a great buy.
