These lights were easy to mount after joining them with some screw in hooks to go along my patio supports. After pairing the lights to the XMCOSY app, I was able to set up a schedule to turn them on and off for additional backyard security. The soft white lights add just enough illumination to comfortably light up the patio and to not be harsh on the eyes. I'm enjoying the way these lights compliment the string lights along my fence line.
We bought these lights and loved them so much, love that they can be dimmed and put on a timer, tho I wish it came with a remote because if you lose service or WiFi you have to unplug it, the power box is water resistant tho I recommend hang it up then leaving on the ground, the first ones we bought got soaked in a puddle and the Controlling capability stopped working and they stayed dim
I purchased the 15 Bulb 39 Foot String which was well packaged as shown in the first picture. Each bulb is individually wrapped with a plastic bag held on by a rubber band. They include a spare bulb.
These are controlled with the XMCOSY App via WIFI. This enbles the user to control the brightness of the Edison like bulbs. Picture #2 shows it at 43% brightness and picture 3 shows it at 7% brightness. Even at 7% the bulbs are extremely bright. They connected to the app easily and adjusting the brightness was easy via my smartphone.
These lights make my patio look so beautiful. I had a little problems with the app and Bluetooth it to my phone, but otherwise they’re great.
These lights were really easy to connect to my existing network. I like that I can change the brightness and even set a timer. I ended up losing the power adapter, so make sure you keep up with that. They have held up through storms, several moves, and being re hung several times. I do find that they are a bit heavy, so it is challenging for me to hang them without putting holes in the wall.
